Batter Days, Chapter 7

Powerful problems

Trying to win a bet with his boss, Buzz “Scoop” Crackerjack Thomas attempts to secure a studio in The Tunnels. But this is no ordinary wager. If Buzz does not deliver a viral story, he will lose his job. Cindy speaks with Detective Haartte, hoping the sleuth can help her find the Waffle Batter sphere. She does not have much time to find the sphere and try to stop the power and water problems happening in town. Haartte recounts how the power issues ruined one of his cases. Meanwhile, disgraced former Little Wicker Baskets executive, Brax Higgins, tries to get a moment of peace away from his cellmate, Bad Note Billy.

Batter Days, Chapter 6

Creative Riding

Now set up in their studio, Kipper and Mulligan attempt to “become artists.” But the former bumbling henchmen are finding it hard to make the transition. Fortunately, Goggles stops by to check in on them. Goggles has years of experience being a creator. He tries to teach Kipper and Mulligan the fundamentals by introducing them to some of the other artists in The Tunnels. And it is quite an eclectic assortment of creators.
