Danny plays while the Venus Arms burns.

Cap continues the tale of Danny Hillcrest and the arcade game. The Stranger listens as Cap explains that Danny had become so good at “Clinical Catastrophe”, he started to attract a small following. But these groupies were not adding anything to the bottom line at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers. Ms. Falmacher decided she must come up with a plan to put an end to the misadventures of Bedpan Bob.

Danny Hillcrest shows off a new skill.

Cap is having a flashback – on purpose this time. He’s relating a story about Danny Hillcrest to the mysterious stranger. It seems that when Miss Falmacher decided to add something new to the lobby of the Venus Arms Hotel, Danny took to it instantly. And that is turning out to be a problem.

Trying to get a good night’s sleep can keep you awake.

Speaking with Cindy didn’t shed much light on the whereabouts of Danny Hillcrest. The stranger is getting frustrated by this puzzle. He insists he must find Danny. But it has been a long day. Still posing as Blaine Hendrix, the stranger returns to the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers for some shuteye. Of course, it’s April in Middling Fair, which always makes things complicated.
